Post Spam! Spam! Spam!
There are two members flooding the forums with spam and should be banned.

these are no users, simply guests...
if you would ban them they would post with another name

you gotta disable guest writing privileges

Then why not disable guests being able to post?

This might be a nice OS dev forum, and I am in need of a good place to ask n00b questions about OS dev, but I am downright terrified. What if they post in a normal thread? What if you accidentally click on those spam threads about porn and medications?

It's really not that hard to register. Unlike other forums this one doesn't even ask for an activation email.

Why are you making this (maybe otherwise good) forum so scary and unpleasant?

Seriously, about 60% of the threads on Newbie Computer Theory are spam, porn, sex, and medication ads.

I hope to get Brendan or PHPnerd to sort this out.

I was under the impression that this had been sorted a long time ago.

I found that all the bad threads were gone.

But now they're coming back!

I wonder how, because I looked and it asks you to type what it says in a picture before you post as a guest. It the functionality broken, or are those real people posting that?

If they're registered users, howcome they don't appear on the list of members and I can't add them to my ignore list?

I check the forum pretty much everyday. I'm more than happy to delete these posts when I come across them if you give me the appropriate permissions.

I actually haven't seen a single spam thread since Kieran became an admin.
