Hi all,

I'm Arlen, young programmer from Australia.

After having roamed the boards a bit, I've dropped in some comments where I feel they're appropriate. I have a fairly thorough understanding of compiler behaviour, OS theory, etc., from a few years of trial and error. I also am working on an operating system project which is coming at a fair clip.

I am also lucky enough to be gainfully employed as a software developer - although unfortunately, kernel and operating system development experience don't count for much. ;)

Anyway, looking forward to interacting and sharing with you guys in the near future.

Arlen

Indeed, soon we might actually have a "community" rather than just a "group". Hehe

Kernel development ought to count for something. It gives you a better sense of how computers work. We should create our own BF certification class, heh.

Not a bad idea Brenden, but we would need a strict syllabus and strict guidelines for such a certification to have any credibillity.
